Agent fleet control

Production discipline for stochastic tools.

Identical prompts produce different runs. Smashq supervises parallel sessions of Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build with visible state, direct intervention, and a complete record.

Favorites. Starten mit.

Pin the folders you return to. A right click on a favorite offers Starten mit: Claude Code, Codex or Grok Build.

Favoriten · Multi-CLI
01 · Start · 2/3

First session: Claude Code.

The real Claude welcome TUI attaches in the main pane. Layout stays single. The session appears in the list on the left.

Claude Code · single
01 · Start · 3/3

Second session: Codex.

Start Codex from another favorite. Layout still single: the new session fills the main pane. Claude stays in the list. Two real shells, still one pane at a time.

Codex · activeSessionId
02 · Fleet

Both sessions, one switch.

The layout switch leaves single mode. Both sessions then share the window: Claude and Codex, top and bottom. Same shells, same list, both visible at once.

Grid-Ansicht · 2 sessions
03 · Notify

Notifications in the dock.

GitHub notifications while the fleet keeps running: reviews, mentions, assignments. The bell stays in the dock so the outside world does not pull you out of the terminals.

GitHub notifications · dock
04 · Steer

You decide when it acts.

In ask mode the agent stops before it acts, and you answer in the terminal it stopped in. A Claude session that exits with an error restarts in the same folder and continues the same conversation. Close the app and the sessions come back.

05 · Library · 1/3

See what shapes every run.

The library opens as its own window. Global scope under ~/.claude/, then each project. Skills, hooks, rules, knowledge, settings, CLAUDE.md and memory: the same surfaces the CLIs load.

Bibliothek · global & project
05 · Browse · 2/3

Open knowledge. Read it in place.

Sections fold open. A knowledge file expands with its body right under the title, badge and copy control included. You inspect the same text the agent will load, without leaving the window.

Knowledge · ContentPreview
05 · Context · 3/3

CLAUDE.md and memory, on demand.

Open the durable instructions, then the memory files that sit beside them. Close them again when you are done. The context that steers every run stays visible and under your hand.

06 · Review

Read what came out of it.

One workspace for everything the sessions changed. The file list carries the review progress, the diff marks words rather than lines, and the overview bar on the right shows where the changes sit before you scroll. Notes attach to the line they belong to.

06 · Send back

Turn remarks into the next instruction.

Mark the lines that need work and collect them as change requests. Smashq composes one prompt from all of them, carrying the code along so the agent finds the place again. Send it into the running session and it is delivered the moment the current turn ends.

Everything built

The surface, then the full inventory.

Six pillars for orientation, fourteen areas with three highlights each, and the complete community catalog under the fold. What ships in the current download is unmarked. What is not in it carries a label.

Pillars

Run sessions

Several real shell sessions at once. Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build side by side, grid or single view, scrollback kept when you switch.

Projects and context

Favorites, project colors, and the config panel: CLAUDE.md, skills, hooks, GitHub, worktrees, history.

Read the outcome

Next release

GitHub and work items

Kanban on GitHub Projects, notifications in the app, tasks with dates, notes global and per project.

Knowledge and editor

Library of skills and agents, markdown editor with preview, paths opened from the terminal.

Ops and trust

Logs, diagnostics, settings, local persistence, and signed updates from smashq.de.

Fourteen areas

Window architecture

  • Main window as session manager. List, terminal surface, config panel, and dock in one place.
  • Detached secondary windows. Kanban, tasks, library, editor, settings, logs, and more.
  • Launcher dock. Open tools from the foot of the session rail without leaving the work.

Session management

  • Parallel PTYs. Several sessions run at once; each is a real shell process.
  • Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build. One menu, three agents; more CLIs to follow.
  • Grid and restore. Layouts keep scrollback; sessions return after a restart.

Terminal

  • xterm with resize. PTY size follows the pane so layouts stay usable.
  • Links and markdown paths. URLs open in the browser; .md paths open the editor.
  • Floating session toolbar. Branch chip, layout controls, and restart in reach.

Project context

  • Config tabs with presence. Only artifacts that exist in the project appear.
  • GitHub at a glance. Branch, pull requests, and issues without leaving the app.
  • History per project. Earlier Claude and Codex sessions, searchable and resumable for Claude.

Favorites

  • Folders you return to. Label, shell default, and last-used order.
  • Groups with drag and drop. Structure projects the way the week is structured.
  • One color per project. The same accent on list, grid frame, and mini-map.

Review-Center

Next release
  • Diffs against HEAD. Session or whole project scope, with syntax highlighting.
  • Notes and change requests. Attach remarks to lines and compose one prompt.
  • Send back into a session. Deliver when the current turn ends, or start fresh.

Kanban and GitHub

  • GitHub Projects board. Lanes, cards, and issue detail with comments.
  • Notifications bell. Unread mentions and assignments inside the app.
  • Honest auth errors. Missing scope or gh shows a fix command you can copy.

Library

  • Skills, agents, hooks. Discovered across global, session, and favorite scopes.
  • CLAUDE.md and memory. Rules and knowledge in one secondary window.
  • Detail without leaving context. Open an entry, inspect it, return to the session.

Tasks

  • Global task list. Filter by project, search, group, and sort.
  • Dates and detail pane. Status, due date, and chips on each item.
  • Calendar export. Ship an .ics file when the week needs a calendar.

Notes

  • Global and per project. Scratch that stays next to the work.
  • Floating notes window. Keep a note visible while the terminal runs.
  • No account required. Notes live on your machine with the rest of Smashq data.

Markdown editor

  • Preview and toolbar. Edit project docs without switching to another app.
  • Open from a path. Relative to the session folder, or from a terminal link.
  • Dirty guard. Unsaved changes are not discarded by accident.

Logs and diagnostics

  • Live NDJSON viewer. Frontend and backend logs in one place.
  • Prerequisite checks. Claude CLI, Git, gh, and shell status before you dig.
  • Copy diagnostics. A single bundle of context when something fails.

Settings

  • Appearance and motion. Light, dark, accent, reduced motion, terminal theme link.
  • Session defaults. Shell, folder, provider, and permission mode for new work.
  • License panel. Offline key entry when Pro is ready; Free needs no account.

Persistence and updates

  • Files under Documents/Smashq. Settings, notes, and tasks on your machine.
  • Schema migration. Older settings upgrade; corruption recovery is built in.
  • Signed updates from smashq.de. Auto-check, manual check, GitHub fallback.

The promise

Everything that exists today stays free.

Smashq follows one rule, written into its architecture document: every feature that has shipped remains in the free version, permanently. Nothing is moved behind a paywall later. Signed updates reach every install through the same endpoint, and that channel is never tied to a tier.

Pricing

What money changes.

Nothing above moves. Paid tiers only ever add, and the update channel stays open on every tier, because that is the path a bug fix travels.
